Subprocessors
Narrativ uses four providers, each for a single purpose. This is the complete list of providers that process data on Narrativ's behalf.
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fly.io, Inc. | Hosting, managed PostgreSQL, backups | All stored data, encrypted in transit and at rest | Amsterdam, the Netherlands (EU) |
| Anthropic, PBC | Extraction of project facts from interview transcripts | Transcript text and project context during processing, under a zero-data-retention agreement: nothing is retained after the request completes, and nothing is used to train models | API processing (US) |
| Resend | Sending sign-in emails | Recipient email address and the sign-in link | Email delivery infrastructure (US) |
| Tally | Optional post-interview feedback survey | First name (form pre-fill) and whatever the user chooses to submit | Belgium (EU) |
Fonts
The web app loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests them directly from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request. No account or project data is sent.
Transfers outside the EU
Where a provider is headquartered in the United States, transfers are covered by data processing agreements incorporating the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The primary datastore remains in the EU.
Changes to this list
We will notify customer contacts before adding or replacing a subprocessor.
